Pick Up and Arrival Clients arrive and depart from ElderHouse in the comfort of air conditioned wheelchair accessible vans. Our professional drivers assist clients to and from their doors.

Mornings Clients have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of small group activities. Some favorite choices include art, music, crafts, gardening, cooking, cards and games.

Personal Assistance For those clients needing special attention, individualized services include help with grooming, showers, hair care and walking assistance. |
Daily Exercise To maintain strength and improve levels of functioning, each day includes armchair aerobics designed by an exercise physiologist. Additional physical activities include walking, yoga and horseshoes, all modified to individual abilities. |

Meals A home-style meal tailored to meet the individual dietary needs is served at mid-day with nutritional snacks offered in the morning and afternoons. Dinner is served to those participating in extended day hours.

Afternoons Birthday and holiday celebrations, outside entertainment, sing-a-longs, concerts, dancing and other fun and festive activities enrich our days at ElderHouse.

Departure After a day with friends, clients board vans or wait for family members for their rides home to spend evenings in familiar surroundings in the company and care of family.

Extended Day ElderHouse offers a program whereby family members can rely on extended hours of care into the early evenings. Caregivers receive the benefit of additional hours of respite outside their workweek schedules to enjoy family and friends. Clients benefit from spending additional hours with their friends at ElderHouse. Evening participants take pleasure in small group activities, dinner and a ride home at 7:00 p.m.
