Why Consider a Charitable Gift to ElderHouse?
.....with the growth of the senior population, we can all recognize ourselves in a situation where a senior family member is diagnosed with an illness that renders him/her increasingly dependent on others for daily care. If not you, a colleague, neighbor or friend struggles today with the demands of work, family and caregiving. Every 72 seconds someone develops Alzheimer's, a stroke occurs every 45 seconds and 40,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease every year. When such circumstances impact a family you know, ElderHouse is here to help.
.....for more than 30 years ElderHouse has raised the standard of care for seniors with chronic illness. Hundreds of seniors have avoided early placement in long-term care facilities due to participation at ElderHouse. Caregivers have benefited greatly from the help ElderHouse has provided in caring for their older family members and from the affordable and reliable days of respite.
.....at ElderHouse we believe that our work with seniors changes lives. Seniors in our program experience respectful care that is high in quality, leading to improved health and well being. Caregivers count on ElderHouse for compassion and support reducing anxiety and stress. Together we are committed to a vision that ensures a better quality of life for both seniors and their families.
You can support the work of ElderHouse in many ways: attend our fundraising events, volunteer or make a charitable donation. Your contribution helps to support the programs and services offered to seniors and their families.
