Nursing Services ElderHouse is a certified medical model adult day center.  A nurse is on staff 6 days a week to provide medical monitoring to all clients and special care to those who need it.  Our staff nurse works with each client’s physician to carry out doctor’s orders including monitoring weight and blood pressure, medication administration, glucose testing and wound care.  Based on each client’s medical history and condition, a plan of care is developed to ensure maximum benefit from our services.
	Personal Care Our staff includes three certified nurse’s aides to assist in all levels of personal care.  From basic supervision to hands-on assistance, our staff provides clients private aid with grooming, dressing and toileting.  A one-to-one shower program is also available to assist clients who have difficulty bathing at home. Monthly hairdressing services are available for a small fee.
Good Nutrition Our clients rave about our food.  Prepared on site, our meals cater to the special needs of our cliental, including diabetic, low-salt, low-cholesterol and soft food diets.  Coffee and toast each morning, a complete lunch at noon, mid-afternoon snacks are served each day.  Dinner is served once a week during our evening respite program.
